Contest #2 info
| Contest #2: Movies and Musicals! This contest will have two parts: Art and Writing. Art Contest: Draw Zuko, Katara, and any other characters you feel necessary in a scene from your chosen movie or musical. In the artist's comments, name the movie or musical, the cast (as in, which Avatar character is representing which of the characters from the movie/musical), and describe the scene. Then, explain a little bit of why you think your movie/musical fits Zutara. Writing Contest: Rewrite a scene from your chosen movie or musical. The rewrite must be in "fanfic form" as in, it should not look like a script. If you have chosen a musical, you must choose a scene with a song in it. In the artist's comments, name the movie or musical, the cast, the original name of the song you parodied (if applicable), and a little explanation of why you think your movie/musical fits Zutara. Scripts for many movies and some musicals-turned-movies are available at the Internet Movie Script Database. Entering: Entries for the Writing and Art contests will not be accepted before September 1st. Submit your entry in a note to the club with a link to the entry and which contest you are entering in. You may enter in more than one contest, but you may only enter once in each contest. Entries must be received by September 17th. Voting: Voting will begin on September 17th, along with the first post-contest prompt. The voting will end a week later on the 25th. Winners will be posted on the 25th. Prizes: Prizes are now in a prize pool. Winners will choose which prize they want after all of the winners are announced. Choice is first-come, first-serve.
